Fun and Friendly Dining and Golfing Experience

Our family friendly restaurant and golf course started as a small, country pastry shop and bakery in 1985 when Wallace “Pops” Rash and daughter Lynne Daniels had a dream. In 1987, Pop’s Pastry added a small café, but tragedy hit the family when their beloved café burned to the ground in 1990. Pulling together as a family, they rebuilt and reopened in 1991 as Pop’s Place.

Rippling Rapids Golf Course started to become a reality in 1991, when Pops and friend Walter Daniels decided they wanted to build and design a golf course together. The course’s first 9-holes opened in April of 1995, and the second 9-holes opened in 2003. Sadly, Pops passed away before he could see the finished product.

Rippling Rapids is now a full, 18-hole golf course with a bar and restaurant in the club house. It is family-owned and operated to this day and continues to serve as one of the most family-friendly restaurants in town.

Rippling Rapids is open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
